I was born in Memphis and raised in Picayune, Ms. I grew up dirt poor and learned the only way to success was through hard work. I worked my way to the top of a company in Seattle learning every job. I helped grow the company to a billion dollar juggernaut. Once i had my two daughters we moved back to Mississippi to raise them. I was always political but never thought about getting involved. As I got older and saw the disfunction of government I became more active. Now I believe we have to change the party system before they become too powerful and we end up under one party rule.
When I talk to folks in our community, one of the biggest concerns I hear about is affordability. It is getting harder and harder for regular families to make ends meet, and I believe a major root of this problem lies in how we handle our finances. That is why, if elected, I am committed to tackling our debt ceiling head-on. Our high national debt is driving inflation and steadily devaluing the hard-earned dollars in our pockets. We simply cannot afford to keep going down this path. I will work to stop the runaway spending that got us here and focus on a responsible plan to retire our debt. By restoring fiscal discipline, we can curb inflation, protect the value of our dollar, and build a more stable, affordable future for everyone in our community.
